Story
My country of origin, Zimbabwe, has been severely hit by Cyclone IDAI and the Chimanimani area where I grew up was the most devastated.
My family was luckily spared from this disaster but others have not been as fortunate. Life has been lost and a lot of people are missing. Some are still trapped and need urgent assistance. Bridges have been wiped out for as far as 100 km from where the eye of the cyclone hit the region. The only way in for those who want to help is by helicopter, which have been very limited because of the weather conditions.
The next phase of the rescue process will be the reinstatement of the infrastructure that has been washed away and this includes homes, schools and bridges.
I am appearing for help, in any form or shape, from those who can assist. Every little helps!
