Update (24/10/18): We have been back for a week and it was a mind blowing experience. We saw exactly where your donations will help, you don't realise just how much they matter toward keeping people warm and fed. If you'd like to know more about it, there's a write up below*. Otherwise, we have decided to put your donations toward the Refugee Youth Centre and the Refugee Community Kitchen and will close this page shortly as they are in great need. The camp we went to was been destroyed yesterday, so they are rallying to feed the people and safeguard the children and families. On the 13th October, Jonathan, Charlotte, Cat and Mindy will be heading to Calais to volunteer for Help Refugees. We are raising money to donate to this grassroots charity which is one of the largest and most efficient operations in Europe. All of your donations will also be matched by Mindy's current employer, Expedia Group!

Help Refugees carries out incredible work everyday by tirelessly providing blankets, clothes, food and water and women’s and children’s services. We will be assisting their team members in their warehouse to help in any way we can.

We will be driving across to Calais to allow us to carry donated supplies with us, including sleeping bags, tents and clothes.
