My name is Chris Bailey, I am currently 16 years old and I am studying for my A Levels at Southam College.

In the summer of 2019, I will be travelling out to India with World Challenge an organisation that allows people around my age to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity for 30 days. With me will be a group of around 10-12 people, all eager to experience the massively rewarding trip. During our time there, we will be completing a community project that will be massively beneficial to the local, who are not as fortunate as us, as we have things like clean, running water that we take for granted.

The project will last around 7-10 days, where the group will contribute towards a project that could include refurbishment, construction and more.

The group will also be effectively organising the whole trip, from where they will be staying to what they will be doing. I will pick up a huge amount of experience from the trip, with the development of skills such as financial management and teamwork. There is an amazing opportunity to trek through the Himalayas, as well as to experience the different culture and way of life in India, compared to England and the U.K.

The total cost of the trip is £3990. Alongside this page, I will be raising money through my part time job and through fundraising events I will put on.
