Weʼve raised £250 to Raise funds to help Oesophagoose, a charity based at the RVI in Newcastle, in memory of my lovely Mam

Story
It's been 3 and a half years since I lost my Mam to Oesophageal Cancer and since then my Dad has been fund raising for 'Oesophagoose' which is a local charity for Oesophageal cancer based at the RVI in Newcastle.
By hosting events, auctions, raffles, singing, telling jokes and selling CDs, he's raised over £11,000 to date.
It's 8 weeks until the next charity event so what I am proposing is to ask for people to sponsor me in abstinence for that 8 week period.
Starting on Sunday 15th July, this is a period that will include the World Cup Final, my wedding anniversary, 8 whole weekends and my fortnight's summer holiday, but despite this my plan is to abstain from the following for the 8 whole weeks:
Alcohol , Caffeine, Chocolate, Crisps and Takeaways !
It's gonna be hell folks but hopefully you'll agree that it's for a good cause.
If you'd like to support me in this ridiculous and quite daunting venture, I would be grateful for any support or donations (however small, it all adds up!)

Well, I've done it! 8 weeks (or 56 days!) through my holidays, wedding anniversary and various other celebrations I've remained alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, crisps and takeaway-free! The best news is that the £250 raised on this page is only half the story. I've got a physical sponsor sheet too and there's plenty more there too.
