On Sat 1st June 2019 a group of us from the Dunblane, Bridge of Allan and Stirling area will come together to take on Strathclyde amateur side Barshaw FC in an 11 aside charity friendly. All money raised by this group will be donated to the Chris Mitchell Foundation

The nature of this match is to raise funds for a cause close to many of the players hearts as well as to raise awareness around mental health and wellbeing for players, ex-players and staff working in the Scottish professional football industry

The first meeting with Barshaw took place in May 2018 and resulted in a 3-3 draw with the Glasgow side clinching the victory on penalties. Most important result of the day however was the £1040 raised by all involved
