Story
Helen was bursar at Winnington Park PS for 26 years before she retired last year.
She sadly she passed away very suddenly on May 23rd and many of the school community she served so fantastically want to do something special to remember her by. The children think something outdoors would be very suitable, as she loved being outside, and somewhere to meet friends and chat would be very fitting.
I've cycled on and off for most of my life but really got sucked in in 2016, working towards last years' Manchester to Blackpool cycle ride, raising money The Christie on the way. This year I'd love to celebrate what Helen brought to Winnington Park and to all who knew her by riding there and back on Sunday 8th July - a journey of over 120 miles!
We're really grateful for any contribution you can make to help create a lasting place to help the children remember Helen at school.

6 years agoThanks for your support! I completed the ride on Sunday - almost 122 miles of cycling through lovely Lancashire countryside! The ride went really well - as fast as could be expected given the distance and incredible heat! Wonderful cause for a wonderful woman! Mrs Frame was working at Winnington Park when I was at school there and saw both of my children through their school years there too. Missed by many ❤️
