Help to pay our Dear Mum Agnes Waganda Otieno’s medical bills

Yesterday we started writing the fundraising campaign under the headline, “HELP SAVE OUR MUM” in the hope she would be coming home. But at midnight the hospital called to say she had passed away. We are all devastated. Mum was always as strong as an ox - rarely ill herself but a constant care giver way beyond her own family. After months of hospital visits and tests, last week the doctors dropped the bombshell no one ever wants to hear. Dear Mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which had spread to her stomach lining. But before we had a chance to process this dreadful news she got a very serious liver infection for which she was being treated at the High Dependency Unit in Nairobi Hospital. Over the last few days she was only able to utter a few words when we lifted her oxygen mask. We can’t cope with the astronomical medical bills. We need help.
