    Story

My name is chris , i am 48 years old . I live with my husband and 3 dogs . I have 24/7 care due to have many health problems . These are a few of my Conditions , i am bed bound due to Spina bifida , i also have Epilepsy , Servere pain syndrome , Fibromyalgia and have also had 3 strokes . I do have a powerchair at the moment but i need a new one due to it breaking down many times , i bought it secondhand it is also over 10 years old . I have tried other ways to replace it but with no joy . I have also asked wheelchair serves but they well only give me a a manual one . I know it is not the batterys as they where replace 9 months ago . The last time i left the house i was out about 20 mins and each time i stopped i would turn it off , as myself and my carer came out of the shop i was in which is about 10 min from my house my chair started to slow down then it came to a complet stop . So me and my care waited 15 min to see if it would go again but there was no power , leaving my carer no chose but to switch over to manual setting and push me back home . Due to her push me and the chair she pulled her back , i have tried using it since but after about 15 min it cuts out . I did not want to ask for charity but it is my only way to get a new chair .
