Well most people don't know that my son frankie was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 18 months old due to him coming ten weeks early when he was a baby. It was hard for me and his mum hanna when he came early at 30 week 5 days because we didn't know what to expect and if he was going to be OK. So after he was born he was taking into the neo natal unit at St James Leeds and that's where he spent his first 4 weeks of his life because he was so small 3 lbs 3ozs. We finally could take him home after a couple of weeks in neo natal unit and everything was fine from there on until about year old when me and hanna was wondering why he couldn't crawl or wasn't trying to get up and walk so me and hanna wanted answers so we went private and paid to see specialist doctor and after months of hospital appointments and assessments he was diagnosed with a form of cerebral palsy what affected his lower limbs from his hips down called spastic diplegia.
The reason we are trying to raise £30000 is fund private operation that the NHS does not fund.
