I have volunteered to join a Nepal expedition in the summer of 2020 with my school. As you know Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world and we will be working on important poverty reduction projects in Western Nepal, e.g building schools, digging wells etc.

We will also be working with international charities such as the Gurkha Welfare Scheme and the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development.

At the end of the trip we will be visiting local villages and schools and doing some trekking.

To raise money I will be walking the length of The Ridgeway, 87 miles, in the first week of July, and then doing more fundraising activities over the summer.

Over 75% of the money raised goes to the local Nepalese charities.
