For many years I have very much enjoyed drinking alcohol, mainly wine. It tastes delicious and I always over-indulged. This year I have changed some medication and found that alcohol makes me extremely depressed. So the best thing to do is to cut down.

I have dramatically reduced my alcohol intake this year and, as a result, am sleeping better, have better mental health and have lost nearly 1 stone.

My next step is to set a behavioural pattern that disregards alcohol completely. Therefore I am attempting to go through March completely without alcohol.

On this basis, I thought I needed some form of incentive, that being a new bottle of Flora by Gucci and getting a new set of nails. I reach out to my friends and family, as well as complete strangers, to ask if you will support me by making a small contribution.
