Story
So ive always wanted to run a marathon (not sure why) think ive gone crazy. Anyway this is the year, im taking on 26.2 miles of running round blackpool. 28th april is the day of the blackpool marathon. Im raising money for a charity very close to my heart, we all know what im like with homeless people, i would happily take them all home with me if i could.
So i thought id help homeless street angels who do such a fab job for the homeless of leeds, giving up not only their time but their love and generosity! They hand out hot and cold food and supplies ranging from clothes to sleeping bags, they help to rehome some and get them household goods too, without people like these some would probably give up hope! Real life angels who i take my hat off too. Everybody deserves a home 💜

5 years agoHey, not updated this for a while, so I managed to get up to 20 miles twice, wow it was hard but I did it. So now I’m on the tapering side, completed a 16 miles run last week and a 10 miles run yesterday, both fine. Ache loads the week after, well to be honest been aching for the last 17 weeks, and sitting on ice is getting very annoying! So this is the last stretch, less than 2 weeks till race day....not going to lie I’m petrified! But I won’t let any of you people down 💙 thanx again to everyone who’s sponsored me x

5 years agoHi everyone, quick update, 20 miles completed Saturday, it was very hard, managed to get to mile 18.5 before struggling, boy was the last 1.5mile a struggle.....same again next weekend then 22 miles weekend after and then it’s tapering time yay. Thank you all again for sponsoring me, for those that aren’t on Facebook, I’m going to auction off an emmerdale script £2 a ticket, to try raise more money for the homeless 💙💙💙
