Hi,

i have been supporting Iris’s Cats in Need for a number of years now. It is a completely voluntary based charity that relies on the generosity of orhers to keep them going.

The volunteers go to great lengths to rescue dumped kittens and ferals and any cat in need or suffering. They even have to hand rear some babies which means staying up all hours giving regular feeds in an effort to keep them alive.

When the kittens are old enough they are put up for addoption, all the vets fees are paid by the charity along with any medication and food etc. They ask for an adoption fee but this actualy pays for the nuetering of the cats and kittens.

I have 3 rescue cats from Iris’s and they have fantastic characters.

I am running the Potters Half Marathon on June 10th , i was told 6 years ago i would not be able to run again after surgery on both feet which ended up being repeated 3 times over the years, so i am proving my original surgeon wrong by running 13.1 miles to raise funds for this charity. Please help me by showing your support.
