Washington Riding Centre been informed that grants are going to be stopped to help support running costs and feed horses. From 1st April the government are going to increase costs and the Riding Centre are no longer able to absorbe entirely.
Throughout the years the benefits of Riding for the Disabled activities have become increasingly recognised by medical and educational establishments as a highly effective therapy which:
Contributes to the improvement of a wide range of medical conditions
Provides a positive, unique and enjoyable form of therapy
Brings a new dimension to restricted lives
Encourages independence
