This fund raising page is for a friend of mine Clare Grady-Lennon. Clare is a young mummy to three beautiful children and is battling to be with them and the rest of her family for as long as possible. Clare has stage 4 melanoma cancer, she has been fighting this disease since November 2017. She has already had the increasingly successful treatment of immunotherapy but was one of the unlucky 20% of patients that have an allergic reaction to the treatment which resulted in her suffering from a near full organ failure that almost killed her last year. Clare's only wish is to be here for her children whilst they grow up for as long as possible, she is a fierce fighter and won't give up easily which is why I am setting up this page to help contribute towards a new type of treatment available for Clare, a treatment that has a 90% success rate of increasing life expectancy for Melanoma patients but unfortunately a treatment that Clare has been denied funding for. The cost of the treatment is £150,000! There is a target on this fundraiser page but obviously the more the page raises the better. I know their are lots and lots of people who want to see her here for many many years to come, but no one more so than her babies.
