Hi everyone,
as you may or may not know, my sister Sharon had surgery to remove a brain tumour 4 years ago. This surgery left her unable to care for herself and she now lives in a fantastic care home. The support she receives is brilliant but we know Sharon could be doing more. All she does these days is stay in bed. My Mam travels every other day to see Sharon and I get over at least once a week as I don’t live nearby, it is so heartbreaking to see her this way.
In 2017 we lost our Dad and it was the hardest thing in the world having to tell Sharon as she simply did not understand, we received the devastating news in October 2018 that our Mam now has lung cancer.
I would like to raise as much money as I can to be able to source some therapy for Sharon to help her get up and about and maybe say a few words. We have tried everything else! Time is precious, and I would love for my Mam to be able to see Sharon achieve these things, before it is too late.
Please, even if you can only spare a couple of pounds, we would be eternally grateful.
