Story
The first stage of the Community Ticket initiative raised £2,400 and enabled 1,200 youngsters and their families to watch a live game at Edgeley Park. The purpose of this initiative is to help build the next generation of support for Stockport County. To date 27 junior football clubs and 1 community group has taken up our offer and 875 people have already watched a game this season. The remaining 325 tickets have been allocated to 6 junior football clubs, who are likely to attend the next home game against Telford.
With Stockport County performing so well on the pitch at the moment, we don't want this initiative to end and would like to invite a further 1,000 (plus) future fans to one of the six remaining (Saturday) home games this season. This is a fantastic opportunity to ensure that families have a great day out and hopefully return and become regular Stockport County supporters!
The Stockport County Supporters Co-operative, Help the Hatters, the Little Mill and a number of generous supporters provided amazing support with the first phase of this scheme. We would now like your help, so we can invite more families!
If you would like tickets for your junior football club or community group, please contact Simon Dawson at simon.dawson@stockportcounty.com
All funds that are donated will be directly transfered to Stockport County Football Club, after any fees are deducted by Just Giving.

5 years agoThe Stockport County Supporters Co-op pledged to match every donation pound for pound, up to a total of £500. This was achieved when we passed the £2,500 target on Just Giving, so thank you for your amazing support. This brings the total amount donated to £5,325, which allows us to donate 2,662 tickets to junior football clubs and community groups. Please keep the donations coming, with County playing so well at the moment, this is the best opportunity we have to market the Club!

5 years agoFinal push: The Co-op led, Community Ticket initiative has raised over £4,000 so far this season, enabling 2,000 youngsters and their families from 36 junior football clubs and 3 community groups to attend a live game at Edgeley Park. With Stockport County chasing the National League North title, the Co-op believe that we have the perfect opportunity to help build the next generation of support. We would like to raise a further £1,000 so we can invite 500 juniors, the Co-op will match any additional donations up to a maximum of £500.
