Story
Sudden Cardiac Arrest is a condition of which no one is immune from. From children to adults, to fitness fanatics and couch potatoes; everyone and anyone is susceptible to cardiac arrest with over 30,000 occurring in the UK each year alone with little to no prior symptoms before a collapse.
The only definitive treatment against SCA is the life-saving shock from a defibrillator. Pairing this along with effective CPR can help to increase a victim’s chance of survival from 6% to 74% if delivered within the first 3-5 minutes of collapse.
life saving defibrillators mean quicker treatment can be provided to a casualty and survival chances increased, but still, there are environments still without this essential piece of equipment, Complete Performance being one.
A group of members from Complete will be completing ‘The Shine’ which is a walking marathon throughout the night on 22nd September.
I hope that you can dig deep and sponsor us to get the fundraising started to raise enough to get a defibrilator for the gym. Every little bit really will help.

Very best of luck with The Shine. Getting a defibrillator for the gym is a brilliant idea - especially considering some of the sessions! :-)
