Weʼve raised £355 to Help Steve take 36 young people to the 24th World Scout Jamboree by walking 55 miles across Greater Manchester on the 19th June 2019.

Story
Helloooooooo.
I have the unenviable task of raising £4000 so that I can attend and support 36 Explorer Scouts on their attendance to the World Scout Jamboree in July 2019. I am raising this fee entirely by fundraising so that it is not a burden on my family and I really am doing well however; I have decided to embark on another walking challenge on the 19th June 2019.
My challenge is to visit EVERY Scout hut in Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham that has a participant within the Jamboree Unit, the challenge element is that I have to complete it on foot and within 15hrs. Don’t think this is much of a challenge? Well there are 40 participants within the unit and over 10 different locations for me to walk between covering over 55 miles.
Please support me in my challenge so that I can continue to support all the Scouts within Greater Manchester North who have a passion for international Scouting and beyond 😀

5 years agoHi everyone. The date is now set (albeit a little later than planned) for the 19th June. I am walking this solo with just Baxter my awesomely awesome doggo for company. Please support me on this hike even if its just words of encouragement.
