Hi my name is Craig, I suffered a spinal injury about 3 years ago, which has caused my spinal cord to be crushed at the c4/5 vertebra, this has cause me issues with walking and taking part in a sport I have loved and played my entire life, Rugby...

My injury causes me to suffer with constant loss of feeling in my legs and feet as well spasms that not only affect my legs but my whole body, this has lead to a change of lifestyle where I felt sport was no longer a part of my life,

I have been aware of wheelchair sport especially wheelchair rugby(also known as murder ball) for some years , but thought it was something out of my reach, until 2 years ago, my wife saw an advert from The Northampton Saints offering taster sessions in wheelchair rugby, as an avid sports lover and life long Northampton Saints Fan, I went along to the initial taster sessions and there was no way I could not take part in the sport going forward,

This summer The Northampton Saints wheelchair team have entered the WR5's tournament, which is a new variant area of wheelchair rugby that is more inclusive bringing the sport to a wider range of disabilities than the current Paralympic classifications allow, opening the sport to less severe disabilities,

Being involved with the Saints has been a lifelong dream so being part of the Wheelchair team is an absolute honor,

I would like to raise funds to enable me to purchase a custom built chair that fits me and my needs, as well a freeing up one of the club chairs for new member's,

Any fund's raised over the target amount will be donated to The Northampton Saints Wheelchair rugby club, to aid in the running of the club and purchasing of sundries items that are a constant requirement, new wheels, inner tubes ect,

This is a fantastic sport, that I am proud to support , play and promote, any support is greatly received,
