Story
My mum (Auntie Alice) was a born fighter. She was lucky enough to have survived a brain haemorrhage in 1981 but unfortunately succumbed to a massive brain haemorrhage in early January 2019, aged 78.
The staff of Ward 46 at Glasgow Royal Infirmary not only took wonderful care of my mum in her last few days but also looked after my dad and I and our massive family - Keeping us going with tea, biscuits and words of comfort.
Ward 46 is currently raising funds for equipment for the staff such as ipads to aid the recovery of patients with brain injuries.
To help raise some funds (& to pay back some of the tea fund) some of my crazy cousins and I have decided to run an inflatable 5k run at Strathclyde Park on 18th May. For those that know us (most of us) are fairly unfit but willing to give it a go.
Any donation no matter how small would be gratefully received :)
Wish us luck (we'll need it) https://youtu.be/xd8rUG4UxW8
