CREATIVE FUTURE @ NIGERIA 2019

Following the successful and ambitious STEM workshop that was held in Nigeria and Jamaica in 2018, where over 600 students (age 9 to 11 years old) benefited because of your amazing financial supports. We will again be hosting Creative Futures@Nigeria in August 2019 and hence the reason we are asking for your support so that we can continue to inspire and impact the lives of these young pupils to achieve their potential.

Creative Futures - Nigeria is a 5 days-long event. It is designed to inspire pupils in STEM. It aims to show students their potential and encourage them to learn about STEM subjects, and perceive higher education as something they would want. The framework for the event is that it was part of Science and Engineering Taster Week, hence the ability to find audiences in so many locations and in such numbers.

The structure of the event is fixed. “Creative Futures: Achieving Your Potential” suits students aged 9-11 years. It includes the presenters acting as role models, mentors and inspirational speakers. The focus of the student experience is upon helping the pupils to use their FOUR-C thinking: Critical thinking in order to work Collaboratively and Communicate their Creativity while working in a team (4Cs).
