Weʼve raised £305 to Help Repair Our Roof

    Crofton, Wakefield, UK
Funded on Friday, 28th December 2018

    Story

We've had £30,000 worth of lead stolen off our church roof. Whilst our insurance is covering a small portion of that (£8000) we have to raise the rest ourselves. Crofton Church is an important part of our community and village life. I'm sure most people have been to a wedding, baptism or funeral here or been to any of our annual children's events or Messy Church. If you can spare any cash for us now we'd be really grateful. We've made the roof water tight but need to get the work done before winter really kicks in. Thanks very much to everyone who has donated on here or personally in church so far. Rev'd Louise x

Thanks so much for your support. We've raised over £300 online! As well as this we've had a grant and lots of cash donations in church. I'll keep you posted once the work starts.

This really saddens me. I was married here and had my children christened too. Hopefully our lovely church can be restored.
