Story
We've had £30,000 worth of lead stolen off our church roof. Whilst our insurance is covering a small portion of that (£8000) we have to raise the rest ourselves. Crofton Church is an important part of our community and village life. I'm sure most people have been to a wedding, baptism or funeral here or been to any of our annual children's events or Messy Church. If you can spare any cash for us now we'd be really grateful. We've made the roof water tight but need to get the work done before winter really kicks in. Thanks very much to everyone who has donated on here or personally in church so far. Rev'd Louise x

This really saddens me. I was married here and had my children christened too. Hopefully our lovely church can be restored.

I'm the vicar of this church and we appreciate the support we're getting online from the local community as well as all the cash donations we've had.
