    Story

Crown Boys Mentoring in partnership with The Jamaican Christian School for the Deaf are voluntary organisations with very limited sources of funding. The school is struggling with a lack of basic running water and secure facilities for 48 residential deaf children. In 2019 funds raised will be used to support them by providing practical assistance, support, vocational workshops, training and sponsorship of deaf students together with employment of part time teaching staff so that students can learn a trade. This is a necessity as not all students will be academically gifted due to some very challenging disabilities. We work to change negative mindsets which promotes the view that due to their disability they are ever likely to underachieve in life and perceived less important than children who are able bodied. Please help us to raise these funds and give them a chance in life. Our mentoring group has helped transform and empower boys into strong men and soon to be leaders in our society we encourage mentees to give back to society. Please donate to a worthy cause.
