Here at Currys PC World Guildford we are holding a charity day to raise money for Positive Touch on behalf of the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at the Royal Surrey County Hospital.

We are planning to hold this day on August 4th 2018 – RAFFLE TICKETS ON SALE IN STORE NOW

We have written to local companies and have some amazing prizes, with lots more to come!

Myself and my colleague Emma have both had premature babies cared for by SCBU so it’s a cause very close to our hearts.

For a parent you expect to have your baby on time and bring them home and care for them, for Emma and my wife & I this was not the case.

For mothers the most traumatic part is not being able to get out of your hospital bed and see your baby. You have just had an operation and can’t walk or move really.. You’re on a ward with all the new mums and their babies .. Yet yours isn’t there and you can’t get to them.

Without the hard work and care supplied for by SCBU our little babies may not have made it and for a short time, the nurses & doctors were our babies parents. They done everything for our little ones that we couldn’t.

Unfortunately for my little boy Riley he's still under the care of a few hospitals once he got home he developed Sepsis then finally on the mend from this he developed an infection. He's only 14 weeks old currently and now under Great Ormond Street Hospital. He has just had an operation at 15 weeks old and still not out of the woods but he’s an absolute fighter.

We really want to raise as much money as possible for SCBU and the doctors and nurses who not only care for the babies but also the parents in this really difficult time.

We really would appreciate any donation to help us raise as much money as possible.
