Currently we are working to raise funds to build a new playpark in the village. It will take approx. £80,000 for the design we have had made up. We are holding a public consultation afternoon tea in the village hall on the 19th of May to gage the support we have, We plan to show the design give choices of equipment and let everyone see the cost of the project. We plan to ask local children what equipment excites them the most. We want this to be an inclusive park to suit all ages and abilities and a space for families to spend the day and have picnic.

We intend to write to local business very soon to ask them to sponsor a bit of play equipment and in return they will get a plaque with their business name on that piece of equipment.

We will apply for grant that we may be eligible for. This along with fundraising events will hopefully help us get a fantastic park for Daviot within a year.
