Story
Hello, my name is Daisy
I have the opportunity to go to Cambodia for 4 weeks in July 2019. I have set out to raise the full £3850 needed and so far I have earned funds from running a refreshment stall at school events, babysitting, and selling items on eBay. I have plans for many things over the next 9 months including supermarket bag packing, a sponsored event at the ice rink, a craft evening at home and holding an auction with prizes. In addition, I would be so grateful for any online donations via this page. Going to Cambodia will be a life changing trip. I will be living as part of the rural community in basic accommodation and taking part in a number of environmental, conservation and community projects, which I hope will make a real difference to the people in Cambodia.
I will also be taking part in a 5 day trek through the vibrant jungle, and visit the ancient temples of Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm, as well as the devastating history of the Killing Fields and S21 Prison.
30% of the population have no access to fresh drinking water; 33% of the population live on less than £1 a day; over 50% of Cambodian children do not receive a decent standard of education.

A little update on my latest fundraising activity, I am asking if companies would be willing to pay £50 for their logo to be printed on my t-shirt that I wear whilst I am fundraising , and during the trip itself. 6 years agoAnother successful event at the school. We (Ollie, Lauren and I) sold refreshments at the awards evening held at school. Our first time doing this went well ! It was fun talking to the parents of the students arriving about the amazing adventures we will be going on!
