My daughter Daisy has decided she would like to support the homeless in Bournemouth this winter. We are so lucky to be able to go to Bournemouth during the school holidays, have had many wonderful times there and made fantastic memories.

However, one thing that is glaringly obvious whenever we visit is the number of people who are rough sleeping with nowhere warm to go at night. In the freezing temperatures of the winter months we often talk as to how they survive the night. In the past we have bought sandwiches and drinks to provide a snack but this winter Daisy thought it would be great to provide at least one person with a new sleeping bag. We have been researching this and there are some very high performance sleeping bags suitable for freezing conditions available in the sale at Mountain Warehouse . Our plan is to be able to provide a sleeping bag for one rough sleeper and possibly raise enough money to hand out some hot drinks and snacks too.

We are so lucky to have the basic essentials we need to live a comfortable life and we would very much like to support those who don’t have these basic needs met .
