The December Gambia 2018 trip consists of 14 students and 4 memebers of staff - these include; Katie B, Shamae G, Isha A, Tara K, Maisie K, Eleanor W, Sara D, Ellie P, Dalia H, Lara C, Inaiah N, Julie BD, Talia M, Bhavya S, Mrs Browning, Miss Cahill, Miss Bruce and Miss O’neil. Over the next 12 months we will be fundraisng in order to finance a number of projects including improvements to Mama Tamba Nursery school in which we will help with general repairs eg. Fencing, roofing and tiling and hopefully the building of an additional classroom. We also are going to continue sponsorship of the teachers’ Salaries enabling children to attend school for free. As well as this we buy grain each year to keep in storage in case the harvest fails providing one decent meal a day for the children.
