Story
My wife has had an awful time over the last year.
She had a large lump growing on her throat and went to the GP. She was referred to an ENT specialist. A biopsy was done immediately and we found out she had Thyroid Cancer and had to have it removed along with Thyroid.
Since the operation she has had a hard time. The removal has put her into Menopause and her metabolism is now almost non existent, so she has gained weight, has dry skin and had to have her hair cut short as kept snapping off.
I miss the person she used to be before all this took hold.
Her heart rate is always out of rythmn now and she has to take 8 tablets every day and HRT just to feel human again.
I recently took us on a family holiday to Spain and watched the sun kiss her skin and my wife come to life again. The climate seems to help with all her awful symptoms.
We are hoping to move to Spain to give her a better quality of life and our ADHD autistic son a new start in a place he loves.

Our life was amazing, we had our future together the the dreaded cancer struck, it took my wife to a place I've never seen, the thyroid cancer took hold of her and nearly won, she has struggled every day and is continuously struggling to carry on
