My father in law has Alzheimer's and is now starting life in full time care, He also has ataxia and is very frail, we have been informed by the care home that Bill (My father in law) requires a specialist recliner chair to make it possible for him to not only sit in an appropriate and comfortable position but also to still be able to get himself up out of a seated position unaided, the home have borrowed a suitable chair temporarily, but have asked us as a family to make a contribution to be able to get Bill his own chair, we as a family are not able to make any sizable contributions, Bill has served his local community by holding many local council positions in his local town, many of these positions were voluntary, even going on to become mayor during this time and being fully involved in many charitable organizations, we would as a family be eternally grateful if we could reach our target and take some of the financial worry away from Bill's wife Marjorie.
