Our 2nd youngest son Joshua, who is 5 years old was to our shock diagnosed with ALL (acute lymphomoblastic leukaemia) on 18th February of this year.
Our eldest little boy has felt helpless and really wants to do something to say thank you to the RVI hospital in Newcastle for the amazing care they are giving Joshua and in his words "help other boys and girls with leukaemia get better"
So, on his own accord has decided he wants to raise £200 to help the children of ward 4&14 by running the Raby Castle 3km fun run (due to his age he's limited to the 3km)..
Anybody who has ever been touched by the leukaemia/cancer will totally understand how helpless everyone feels, so this is Benjamin's way of not feeling helpless.
Any donation regardless of size will be very well received whilst also giving a 9 year old boy some help in coming to terms with what his younger brother is currently experiencing and also making him feel like he's making a small difference to help children on his brothers ward.
