Story
The Birmingham and Midland Institute has been at the heart of Birmingham's cultural and educational learning since 1854. It is the sight of the original Birmingham Library and home to some very rare books and collections.
However, the upkeep and maintenance of such a historic and protected building is difficult and we need as much support as possible. This is why myself and heidi are running the Birmingham half marathon on October 14th 2018.

I have been working for the BMI for the past few weeks. it has been a pleasure getting to know everybody here, all the staff, many of whom are volunteers are so dedicated and proud to be part of this historic Birmingham based institution.
