Daniela is finally out of intensive care, which is great news. She is feeding through her mouth now. She has also been able to get out of bed with help. Unfortunately though, on a trip to the bathroom with help from her Auntie her legs gave way and she fell and broke her arm. This is quite serious as they are unable to set the arm with plaster due to her skin grafts. She is waiting for a specialist to see her to see what they can do.

Thanks to all who have donated. Daniela is out of the induced coma and has responded well to the antibiotics. She has had a tracheostomy to help with breathing and periodically needs her lungs draining. She will be in intensive care for a while longer and when strong enough will hopefully undergo an operation on her other glute. Daniela stull needs blood and medicines. On a positive note she has been able to sit up as you can see in the attached picture.

Daniela has taken a turn for the worse. She has a lung infection caused by a build up of fluid and is needing help to breathe. She is very weak and is still being fed through the nose.They have operated on one side of her glutes but the clinic are refusing to do her side until more funds are deposited into their account. The fees to date are nearly $40000 and they have said they need $10000 to continue her treatment. We have sent the rest of the money donated so far (£550) to buy the antibiotics and drips needed to treat her infection.
