I am asking for help to raise money for this unbelievable fighter, an inspiration to us all....12 years of operations, pain, problems, being bound to a wheelchair. and alot of heartache. My beautiful nefew Joshua Was diagnosed with cancer only a month after he was born and for the last 12 years he has fought this terrible disease with such courage and most importantly kept a smile on his face! He lights up every room, he is unbelievably witty and full of life, not for one moment would you consider he had been through a world of hell already.

Just recently our family has had to face absolute heartbreak as we were told he now has a second tumour located on his spine below his primary tumour. we dont know what the future holds and quite frankly we dont want to face whats ahead.Joshua has already had khemo therapy at only 2 years of age plus a life threating brain operation as the tumours on his spine put so much pressure on other vital parts of his body resulting in fluid on his brain. he was flown to america for proton therapy at only 4 Years of age. my sister and joshuas father are also expecting their 4th child so you can imagine what thee emotional strain must be like on their family right now, they are completely broken. I couldnt deal with what my sister has to deal with everyday, her beautiful boy suffering Right infront of her eyes. joshua has two brothers that are also broken by this. Well they have not been told everything as they are too young to be put through this but they are not stupid and know something is wrong.

joshua never complains, only this weekend after being told about his tumour..he was awaiting the surgeon on a burns ward at manchester royal as it was the only ward with an available bed , when he turns to my sister and says he shouldnt be upset because its not fair on all of these poor children who have been burnt....that is the kind of whole hearted, selfless boy he is! Iv never been able to put into words anything about joshuas illness for the reality is i would then be admitting to myself how fatal this disease is. But if i can help my boy and my sister and her family then i will.

I would be so grateful if you could help me raise money to ensure joshua has a bright fututure, and has the finances to maybe go on that dream holiday where everything is accesible for him and his holiday can be made a little easier. If heaven forbid something unexpected and fatal does happen maybe any money raised could make a huge difference. Being in a wheelchair i think has been one of the hardest parts of his illness. Watching his friends take part in activities and just take part in things that mainstream children can. There is so much i could write so if anybody would like anymore information dont hesitate to give me a messge. Nothing i say could come close to the actual story of his life but im hoping iv made some difference.
