So this year I have signed up to run the Bristol 10k! I started running a couple of months ago and after running my first 5k I thought I needed to challenge myself and why not do it while raising some money for two organisations that mean a lot to me! I will be splitting what I raise equally between these two organisations. Here's why I picked these two organisations:

I am running for Bristol Rabbit Rescue and Friends which is a small organisation that I have set up with a group of likeminded people. Our main aims are to rescue and rehome small animals and educate the public on small animal welfare standards. We started on this new venture last year and have already rescued and rehomed a handful of animals. We are applying to become a registered charity so any donations at this time are hugely appreciated to let us continue our work for years to come.

The other organisation I am running for is The Grand Appeal. Anyone that knows the Lloyd family knows we have had our fair share of Bristol Children's Hospital through the years! So I thought it's my turn to give back to this amazing charity. The Grand Appeal provides children and families with support during their stay in hospital and any treatment that they are undergoing. They make hospital stays and treatments less daunting for children by providing play specialists, toys and equipment that help children understand what is going on.
