Hi! My name is Daniel McGarrie, I’m a 6th year at Bearsden Academy and on the 1st June 2019 I’ll be doing the Cairn O’ Mount cycle challenge! I’m doing this in an effort to raise money for my trip to Botswana this summer, where myself and 5 friends will be building houses and classrooms for orphans in Africa. The challenge involves an 80 mile cycle around Angus, leaving from Edzell Muir, then to Fettercairn, finishing with a tough climb up the steep Mount Cairn. The challenge will surely be a difficult task but I feel it’s worth it as it’s for such a good cause. Any donations will go straight towards the fund for our classrooms and will help lay the foundations in time for us going in July.
