I am doing six Triathlons this summer, to raise money to help to fund research and raise awareness of CADASIL.

It is a little-known rare hereditary disease that runs in my family. Sadly, my grandma died of it and now my mum and quite a few other family members have it, and possibility me.

As of right now there is nothing that can be done for it, as there is no cure, so I try to maintain a sporty life and hope that helps

CADASIL may start with attacks of migraine with aura or subcortical transient ischemic attacks or strokes, between 35 and 55 years of age. The disease progresses to subcortical dementia.

I will be donating the money to Cambridge University, to help with research into this little know disease, they are at the moment are the only group in the UK studying it.
