Guernseys' St John Emergency Ambulance service, provide an Island wide service to deliver immediate medical care for all those in need. As we live in an aging population on a small Island the demand for the ambulance service becomes greater. Because of this reason the St John Emergency Ambulance service requires a new purpose built Ambulance to continue delvering the excellent care they allready provide. This Ambulance will be purpose built and adapted for Guernsey. The Ambulance will have a specially designed body, stocked with life-saving equipment, carrying diagnostic tools and medical kit. The Ambulance allows medics to deliver advanced care and pre-hospital emergency treatment.

To help raise money for the purchase of the new Ambulance, the service is holding a CPR Marathon for 24 hours. During this marathon teams of atleast 6 will carry out CPR for one hour periods.
