We are amateur cyclists, cycling 42 miles from Iqra Academy Peterborough to Darul Arqam Leicester! We're so amateur that some of us didn't even own a bike until now :-o

However, it's an important cause and we're putting our neck on the line for this!

Darul Arqam Education Trust is a charitable organisation who have been providing Islamic Studies courses for the Peterborough community for the past 6 years. Up to date, over 40 members of our community have completed either the 1 year Foundational Islamic Studies course or the 2 year Diploma in Islamic Studies.

These courses have empowered individuals of all ages, from our youngest aged 12 to our seniors aged 40. Graduates have taken the knowledge and understanding they have attained to all aspects of their life. Individuals are able to confidently engage in debates/discussions at school, work or at home. They have attained greater clarity to previously held notions & developed a deeper and more meaningful relationship with their religion.

However, this comes at a cost, the venue, our teachers' time & travel. We have kept fees incredibly low to facilitate the learning although this has meant we fall short in covering our costs.
