So, later this month, on the 14th April, I will be going on a journey to the seaside. Sadly, I have agreed to run the Brighton Marathon instead of enjoying an ice cream whilst sat on a deck chair. What has this meant to me? Well, basically for the past 4 months, instead of being able to go out and enjoy myself, I have been having quiet Friday nights in so i can get up at silly o’clock on a Saturday to go running. It has also curtailed my rugby as risking injury has had to be avoided.

So my promise to you is that i will trudge myself round the 26+ mile course of brighton, no doubt suffering from the heat whilst dreaming of ice creams that are just out of reach, and all you have to do is donate a little bit of money.

I do promise that i will complete the course, even if i have to crawl. There will be NO WHITE FLAG.

So the money raised.... Nope it won’t be for me to go out on a friday night, about £8 would cover that. But instead it will be passed on to The Billy Monger Appeal that the HWRUFC club is helping with. I know a lot of the younger people will not know Billy but you do know me, so why not contribute to my suffering and help me keep going for a good reason.
