Please can you help Debby aged 36 in this difficult time while she fights the battle of triple negative stage three breast cancer to raise enough money which will help to pay for the IVF treatment she has had to undergo as well as a house move and also wedding which all came at once.

Debby story started 7 years ago at the age of 29 when she had a smear test which came back as abnormal after some testing this was discovered to be cervical cancer this was a massive scare for us, which she had treatment for this and test have since come back all clear.

In Feb 2018 she noticed a little growth under her eye again knowing the past went straight to the doctors where they booked her in and this was again removed and tested to only find it was a form of skin cancer. This was shocking news at the time but again this was removed and got the all clear, At this stage we were planning our wedding and also a house move so already had plenty to contend with this year.

The biggest shock came in March 2018 when she was breast feeding out baby boy who kicked her, from this she noticed a small lump in her breast we feared the worst due to her past which had happened. After she was tested they discovered this to be stage three triple negative breast cancer, this was a massive shock to hear at the age of 36 and they also stated it unusual to have 3 forms of cancer at such a young age.

This had put a hold on our plans to get the wedding on the way, after speaking with the hospital they told us about the IVF treatment which we could do to store the eggs as they advised us that chemotherapy can affect fertility and this is an option if we decide to have a second child. Which we didn’t want the option of having another child taken away from us due to the cancer treatment. The hospital also stated this will be fully funded which was a massive relief. When we had an appointment booked we found this to be incorrect and we have had to use our savings for the treatment to take place as this could not be held up as chemotherapy could not start until the course of IVF had been done. We had 5 days to get the money to start the treatment and had to pay £5,000 to pay for the medication and treatment as well as every year we have additional storage fees for the eggs to be frozen and stored then if we decide to use them a further fee for this.

This has been a difficult time as we were also in the process of a house move which at the time had already started all of our money have had to be used for hospital trips and IVF treatment already and we still have the wedding to plan. We did think of postposing this as due in October 2018 but found that Debby needed something to look forward to so continued with plans we are trying to make this a special day and get some fund back to help with the cost of this and for the IVF we have had to pay as well as raising enough to finish the house as we have many things which also need completing. The honeymoon has had to be postponed as she is still undergoing chemotherapy treatment and has also got surgery and radio therapy treatment to undergo. The journey will also be ongoing as she also had to have genetic testing to see if she is a carrier of the bracca gene which in turn could also mean Mastectomy surgery to remove the breast.
