My wife has lived in the UK for 8 years and has not applied for any benefits at all. Now I have developed two forms of cancer and cannot work so we are living off of savings which are fast dwindling. My own life line is limited thus we need to finalise my wife's residency so she can remain in the country she calls home. She is loved by many here and feels British. I would rest easier if I knew that after my demise she could stay here as a citizen. How long do I have? As with all cancers I do not know.

Please help in whatever amount you can so I can add to the amount I have set aside to complete an expensive exercise. She is not an EU citizen.
