We all know Fiji as an island paradise. Although, as in most countries around the world, the harsh truth is hidden by this 'curtain of wealth' created for tourists. In rural Fiji, 75% of children and families are living in poverty, with lack of education, healthcare and access to safe drinking water. On September 27th I am due to fly to Fiji to start a teaching placement with an organisation called Think Pacific that aims to tackle this very issue.

Working in Fiji alone, Think Pacific work along side the Fijian government to improve education, healthcare and infrastructure. I'm a huge supporter of their work and can't wait to get out there and help them in their fight against the poverty that looms over the Fijian people. However I've run into some problems and find myself unable to complete the payment for the placement. So I ask that you please either donate or share this to help get me to Fiji.
