This year Leeds City Council have almost tripled our rent. This has limited our ability to buy new much needed equipment and has affected our presentation funds. Instead of moaning about it we have decided to get out there and raise the money ourselves.
I believe having a club around like whinmoor is important. It helps kids make new friends teaches them discipline keeps them active and gets them off there computers.
Whinmoor is solely run by volunteers who have full time jobs and who give up there time to support these kids. A group of coaches officials and parents have decided to tackle the Yorkshire 3 peaks it's a big task for us all but where going to use that warrior spirt to drag us through in hopefully 12 hours. Please could you donate as much as you can and help us help the kids stay in sport and off the sofa.
