me and a couple of friends are doing a round trip bike ride from Nottingham to Skegness and back again little over 180 miles. we will be doing this for (Dementia)

ive gotten my local Central England Co-operative (where i work) involved with this great opportunity the team i work with are giving me a lot of support but we are reaching out just to get that little bit of help.

we will be doing this for (Dementia) the money we are collecting is to help support the Admiral Nurses.

Admiral Nurses provide the specialist dementia support that families need. When things get challenging or difficult, our nurses work alongside the entire family, giving them one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions.

1 in 3 people in the UK will develop some form of dementia in their lifetime, currently 850,000 in the UK have some form of dementia, this will rise to over a million by 2025 and over 2 million by 2050. There a four cancer researchers for every one dementia researcher. In the UK, dementia is the only condition in the top 10 causes of death without a treatment to prevent, cure or slow its progression.
