Until very recently, David Bedding was an everyday family man, who enjoyed spending time with his family, trips out in his MG with his wife and was looking forward to the wedding of his son, Simon.

After suffering minor symptoms and then what appeared to be a stroke, he was diagnosed with a very rare brain tumour called Glioblastoma Multiforme and had emergency brain surgery in London to remove it.

Radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment have started, but these treatments will only delay the tumour coming back and cutting-edge treatment which could halt this tumour in its tracks and is available in other countries, is not offered on the NHS. Time is of the essence.

David’s family have found a Consultant Oncologist in London to administer the treatment, but they need help in raising the funds – the cost is £250,000 and although the family have managed to raise part of these funds themselves by raiding piggy banks and savings, they urgently need help in raising the rest – and quickly, before the tumour grows back.

The family are also running a monthly draw – ‘The 100 Club’ with The prizes are £100, £50, £25 plus a booby prize and costs £10 per line to enter. Each draw (pulled by David on the 1st of the month) costs £10 per line per month (by direct debit), with a chance to win one of the cash prizes. Get in quick whilst the odds are high!
