My beautiful daughter Natalie has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 Lipoedema. This is a condition that affects 10 percent of women and goes undiagnosed for years due to even GPs not knowing or knowing very little about it. Natalie only discovered she had this through research she done herself as she now suffers severe pain due to the dangerous stage she has now reached. Stage 4 basically means that she can lose her ability to walk.This shows as abnormal fat deposition in the lower limbs. It is totally resistant to diet and exercise which has caused serious issues in the past causing her to experience eating disorders. Very recently we have met with 1 of only 2 surgeons in this country (Mr Karri) who can help Natalie with surgery to remove the lipoedema but at a cost of up to £40,000. The NHS will not fund this so all Natalies family are doing their best to raise as much money as they can but we still need help. Please help us to give Natalie a pain free life and normal mobility which this disease slowly but surely takes away from her. Any amount how big or small will mean so much and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart ❤️
