On October 13th I will be taking part in the 10 mile Great Orme great walk. I will be doing this in memory of my nephew Sean Russell (with his parents permission) and raising money for Andy's man club.

Sean's loss almost 12 months ago has devastated everyone who knew him and I want to try and stop other families having to go through the nightmare that we still live everyday.

Andy's man club was set up in 2016 in Halifax by Luke Ambler in memory of his brother in law and now has 16 clubs across the country. It provides men the opportunity to talk without fear of stigma or judgement

The statistics surrounding suicide and mental health are appalling and disturbing and things need to change. I have seen the difference that Andy's man club has made to not just the men who attend but to their families. Hopefully by doing this I can help others who are struggling whilst remembering my wonderful nephew and I hope he would have been proud of me (although knowing him he'd have made some joke about it! 💟)
