I am a 54 year old female,have a long work history in caring for disabled and in hospitality, I have an opportunity now to combine both, I have been given the chance to run a hotel on lease hold,by a very flexible business man, my big hurdle is that this 10 bed hotel is completely unfurnished, my business plan is very simple,i want to run a hotel and play hostess to people who should be part of the general community,but quite often are not regarded as such, My intention is to create an atmosphere that promotes fun,but also an understanding approach to peoples special needs and specific requirements, for now the specialist equiptment i may need has to take a back seat while i at least try to furnish the building, the kitchen and bedrooms are completely unfurnished all have carpets and curtains, I need to raise as much money as possible as quickly as possible,or indeed the furnishings i will need.

I have the skills i need to make this a success, I also have the team I need to make this work, I have never asked for anything in my life,and people who know me will be very shocked that i am doing this at all, I need someone to give me some support and believe in the project i am trying to achieve. I firmly believe that disabled people should be in the same community as everyone else,but the plain fact is they are not, personal care needs can sometimes make people feel uneasy,embarrassed and indeed encourages some people to be rude and unkind to others,this is the kind of thing i want to prevent, everyone deserves to go on holiday,everyone deserves to be in a welcome environment when they are, I can fill this hotel quite easily throughout the whole year with my ex employers alone, all i need is help,thankyou for reading
